So I noticed a few days ago that videos on msnbc.com had stopped working. I’m running Ubuntu 11.04 and Unity. Yes, I know, no flame wars please. At first I hated it, and now I just use it on all of my machines. The icon bar is on the left. Big deal
Do not try to install GNOME Shell in Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwhal from GNOME3-Team PPA, at least for now. I was trying to do just and ended up with a completely unusable Ubuntu now.

The latest version of Ubuntu known as Maverick Meerckat or 10.10 has a minor bug which might be bothering you as well. When you try to open a folder via Places, instead of opening it as a folder, it opens it with some media player, Rhythmbox or VLC, etc.

I am yet to read anywhere that it was stated Karmic was going to be bugless. I am amazed at how people are equating Karmic to Vista in terms of buggs and hiccups.
