How to Completely Remove Mono on Ubuntu

As promised on my last article article “Ubuntu and the crazy Mono”, I will now show everyone how to completely remove Mono, the libraries and the dependent programs. More here

There is a warning that you guys should know before removing Mono. If you use/enjoy programs such as Tomboy, Banshee, F-Spot or even Gnome Do then please turn away right now as removing Mono will also remove these programs. Of course there are alternatives and if you wish you could test them Out to see if you like them but in general, if you’re happy with a program and it does the job then most of the time there’s no big reason to remove it.
