I’m constantly vigilant, assesing how much of the general public who are not technically minded have heard about Ubuntu, or use Ubuntu or who have used Ubuntu in the past. More here

So in all, a change here isn’t possible without more people demanding Ubuntu from the streets. These companies will continue to sell only Netbooks with XP, they will continue to sell people computers that rob them of their freedom and cost much more money. They will continue to sell computers that are harder to maintain and harder to earn money from support services.
