Ubuntu at its best
Sometimes last week, Linux Format awards in issue LXF115 was held. Ubuntu and Canonical scooped couple of awards, which proves their popularity. More here
Firstly, Ubuntu Forums bagged the Best Support Resource Award – this shows how active and helpful Ubuntu forums’ members have been. The forums have 6.5million post and counting, 745,000 members and growing. This is a very mammoth community. Ubuntu scooped Best Distribution Award and Canonical bagged the Best Enterprise Award. It’s no secret that Ubuntu is growing fast and one of the most popular Linux distributions. With a release cycle of every six months, Ubuntu developers ensure that latest software’s and patches are available to its users without any cost.
