Another thing I realized is that using the Acer Aspire One might not be totally easy because of sound and wireless issues. Another thing is that the Ubuntu Netbook Remix installer is based on Ubuntu Hardy Heron. I might have to check also for the compatibility of other packages I am used to on my current laptop.
